Mariella, Lake Como Villa Sleeps 14
The harmony and its architecture of classic and refined furnishings, were studied by the consultancy a “ecologic” pooarchitect of international fame, making this Villa a place of particular pleasure and hospitality. The garden offers private access to a small and secluded beach on the bank of the lake. The rooms have large terraces, with views of the Lake and mountains from every angle.
The eco-awareness, allows the domestic water use, including the swimming pool, to be heated by solar panels. From the residence you have direct access to the nightlight swimming pool, without going outside, adapted with a sliding retractable cover, ideal for enjoying the summer sun in all peacefulness and for a relaxing bathe in case of rain or during the night.
The villa is located directly on the lake, there is an access walk where you can walk along the lake to restaurants. You have easy access to docks to rent a boat. The views from this villa are breathtaking. We had the opportunity to stay here in the summer of 2011 and 2013. It was a wonderful experience. The villa is very large and beautifully decorated, with rich wood furnishings, bright white sofas, oriental carpeting and antiques from the area. All double bedrooms have air-conditioning. Over 13 – 16 persons will be a charge of 350 Euros.
There is a village with a pizzeria, bank and post office is just 600 metres from the property, a grocery store is 2 km away. Boating, sailing, windsurfing, hiking, golfing, tennis, mountain biking and horseback riding are available in the area. The nearby Menaggio has a ferry dock with connections to Bellagio, known as the “pearl of the lake,” and Varenna, with its brightly painted houses.
Villa Mariella, one of the most beautiful villas on the Lake with its botanic gardens and art treasures, is 20 minutes away in Tremezzo. Factory outlet shops (Armani, Ferragamo, Versace, Etro, Guggi and Foxtown) can be found just over the border into Switzerland, within 10-30 minutes of Como.The house is located in a unique setting: right on the lakeshore, just a few meters from the public beach (there are no private beaches in Italy).
The gravel beach is just 20 m from the property. A public pedestrian path runs along the shore between the lake and the property. Enjoy walking along the lake promenade for several kilometers! This spacious, brightly decorated villa is ideal for large family groups.
Check in
Check in is at 4:00 pm, check out is 10:00 am. Upon request and approval of owner, a late arrival is possible between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm for an extra fee of €50.
Security Deposit
€1200 euro damage deposit due at check in and refunded at check out. €300 deposit for food if chef service is requested for cooking.

Food & wine, Telephone is available and based on usage, chef services, boating, excursions, additional guests (13 -14) €350/week.
