The Villa Sophia property, has been totally restored but has maintained all the original architectural features of a Tuscan house, with its’ domed painted ceilings, color washed walls and stone floors. The rooms are beautifully furnished with Italian antiques and attractive rugs. Wonderful pictures hang on the walls. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all luxuriously appointed with beautiful Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels. The Villa is in a private hill town with 4 other Villas, all with a beautiful Michilin Star Restaurant, Gardens overlooking vineyards and high rolling hills.

As well as a castle, the estate houses a hamlet of five, impeccably designed villas that sleep a total of 30 guests. Though steeped in history, each stylish villa features five-star, modern amenities, canopy beds, an eclectic mix of antique and eccentric furniture, and en-suite, mosaic-tiled bathrooms. The meticulously maintained gardens are filled with box hedges, cypresses, lemons trees, grape vines and roses. The villa has a master bedroom suite with two dressing rooms, a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. All the rooms have an en suite bathroom with a separate shower and bath. There is a study, sitting room with open fireplace, library/hall and a dining room with a table that can seat 14. The kitchen is fully equipped. Outside in the walled garden there is a covered area and a table for al fresco dining.

Check-in is Saturday at 4:00 PM ; Check-out is Saturday at 10:00 AM.

Security Deposit

There is a security deposit of €1000 per week (per house), which is to be paid along with the final payment and will be refunded one month after departure less any unpaid expenses.

Extra Costs

House heating (if required) according to consumption, swimming pool heating according to consumption (€6.8 per unit/kw), extra maid service (€10 per hour), additional sheet or towel change, consumables, spa services,  chef or cocktail service, sporting activities and/or adventure excursions. However, all may be arranged upon prior request.

What's Included in the Cost

Six days of maid service (either one maid for three hours per day or two maids for 1.5 hours per day), fresh bed linens changed once per week,  and fresh bath linens changed twice weekly.
