I visited this property in the summer of 2016. Upon entering I was inspired by the beauty of surrounding gardens,  built in the 15th century, this bright colored villa offers elegant fabrics, rich dark woods and antiques.  Once you enter this property of unparalleled luxury, you will not want to leave. It is nestled in the Tuscan hills just 6 km from Florence center, which is the most sought after town in all of Europe. For the last two years,  the town of  Florence has been awarded the number one town in all of Europe for its art, history, culture, nightlife and magic! You can walk to the town if you chose, which is a 30 minute or motor bike. There is parking for those who want to have their own vehicle.

Rich in history the villa exudes Italian “classic style” at its finest, from the architecture to the carefully selected furnishings, this is one of the finest properties in all of Florence. The classic interiors of this villa are both understated and elegant.  Since the 1600 this home has welcomed royal families, cardinals, and prominent statesmen for centuries. In the earlier time of the 16th century, families who lived here were entertained by dignitaries, poets & musicians. It is conveniently located on a road that will lead you to the town or to the highway to the countryside of Luca, Chianti or even Bologna which is the perfect setting for day trips to visit vineyards.

There are four well appointed bedrooms with the finest linens and large bathrooms. The master bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom, a walk-in closet and a private balcony with outdoor furniture and an open view of the gardens. In total the bedrooms sleep 8 guests. There are 3 large living rooms with fireplace, a grand dining room (seating for 10 indoors/outdoors), and a library. Although large enough for a family, this property is perfect for a romantic honeymoon or 3 couples.

You will stroll for hours through a path of lush gardens reminiscent of those found in poetry. Enjoy a glass of wine and lite-fare under the pergola and Wisteria & Hydrangea gardens.  The Villa is wrapped in mature vines & jasmine almost as if they were painted perfectly around the home. Discover artful plant combinations & intricate vines that fall gently over the the al fresco dining area. Whether you enjoy wines from the estate or an afternoon espresso, you will be awestruck with the natural beauty of this grand estate.

There is  full time housekeeper and cook. The couple live in separate quarters on the property and will take care of your daily needs.
