The first time I visited Ravello, I fell in love with this magical town of passageways and gardens overlooking the most dramatic part of Italy. Those who are well traveled will tell you that Ravello is arguably one of the most romantic and beautiful places on earth.
The Villa has a large terrace with flowing curtains that dance in the endless breezes. Here is the perfect place to watch the sunset towards Capri, birds dancing high in the sky, will leave you with a sense of tranquility and peacefulness.
The Villa has 4 suites with en-suite bathrooms, a double room on the annex with a bathroom and an attic above. The Villa is decorated in bright colors that are typical of the Amalfi Coast, both inside and out. You will love the quaint doors with pained glass, tiles of brigh colors and wallpaper of french country. The property is quite unique as it combines the tradition Italian but is also accentuated with patters of flowers. The house is charming and unique to this area, it is tucked away in a neighborhood up stairs that open to a magical place where you will want to stay forever.
The Villa occupies a covered area of 500 sq. meters and is situated inside a 4,000 meter park. The large panoramic terrace with ancient stone basins and wisteria-covered arcades is the heart of the house. Practical pathways run all around the well-tended gardens. Numerous olive and lemon trees offer shade and covered areas with benches and observation points from which to enjoy the view. A large panoramic swimming pool with whirlpool and a small sports field with artificial turf (for basketball, badminton, ping-pong and five-a-side football) can be found amidst the greenery of the garden. The vegetable garden provides fresh, natural produce for the kitchen.
All the rooms and living areas in the Villa have central heating, air conditioning, telephones, digital and satellite TV, ADSL broadband and access to the digital archive with films and music. The play room has a home theater entertainment system, with movie screen-sized video and surround sound multi-channel audio, a musical instrument area of an electric piano and video-game console, computer with printers, fax, scanner and copy machine, a well-stocked library featuring literary classics, including childrens books, and a film library with hundreds of movies, operas and concerts in high definition Blu-ray. The Villa has a modern security system including alarms and a safe.
