Sardinina Luxury Villa
We visited this property as our first stop in Sardinia. It is conveniently located not far from the airport in Olbia, which was a short and pleasant flight from Rome. We arrived into Rome and 90 minutes later were flying to Sardinia. Much to my surprise the roads were very easy to travel, signs and clear highways. The driving was much slower and less bustle than the mainland of Italy. From the airplane I looked down to see the bright blue seas against the bright clay tones of the rocky hills and mountains.
Having been to mostly all of the Italian coastlines, this one was special. Everything I have read was an under exaggeration of the true Costa Smeralda. This small Villa Suite was high above the sea with panoramic views. The rooms were meticulously decorated with bright colors of the island’s potteries and prints. The bed one of the most comfortable I have stayed in Italy, with high quality linens and towels. The AC strong and this was needed as Sardinia was hot but I welcomed the bright sunshine. The bathrooms of pastel tiles and the showers were very strong and the water pressure made for a very relaxing shower experience.

The property has a jacuzzi, spa and gym. The restaurant was the perfect spot for the best selection of breakfast cuisine with a vast array of selections of cheese, pastries typical of Sardinia and fresh eggs. The dinners were superb. The resort has a sail boat, which words can’t quite describe the experience of sailing on the Costa Smeralda’s clearn and sparkling blue waters. The lunch out to sea was fine dining on the sailboat. We swam, drank fine wines and champagne (Italian Proseco), fish, risotto, nuts, olives and meats.
I would highly recommend this property for a honeymoon or luxury relaxing vacation. This is a place I would not only recommend, but would love to return to each year!
